State, federal law enforcement seen at Alfie Oakes’ Naples home and Immokalee business

Nov. 7, 2024

Federal and state law enforcement vehicles surrounded celebrity farmer/grocer Alfie Oakes’ North Naples home and Immokalee business Thursday.

Part grocery, part bakery, part butcher shop, part bar, Oakes’ $30-plus million Seed to Table is the popular hangout for the local GOP’s Make America Great Again wing as well as for area foodies attracted by organic broccoli and craft beer.

Reached by phone, Oakes declined to comment, other than saying, “We’re looking into it, but everything’s good.”

A man standing in the driveway in front of a metal Oakes building in Immokalee on Thursday afternoon wore a DCIS (Defense Criminal Investigative Service) badge, indicating he is a member of the Department of Defense agency that investigates terrorism, cyber crime and fraud, where Oakes Farms vehicles were seen entering Thursday, though some were being turned away. The man’s shirt is labeled “firearms instructor.”
