I remember watching the TV and seeing the first problems that night. I remember it like it was yesterday.
For a while, there weren’t any swing states called for either candidate. But then it happened.
North Carolina.
Then Georgia.
It was close, but it didn’t matter. One by one the different news organizations were calling it for Trump. It didn’t matter that these results were “unofficial.” To the majority of the country, it may as well be official.
